Job Summary:
The
Head Content Writer will be responsible for creating and overseeing
high-quality content that engages, informs, and inspires our audience across
various channels. This role will require a strategic thinker with exceptional
writing skills and a deep understanding
of the D2C market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams,
including marketing, design, and product development, to craft compelling
narratives that resonate with our target consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy Development:
Develop
and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the overall
business goals and brand vision.
Identify
key topics, trends, and themes that will engage our audience and drive brand
awareness.
2. Content Creation:
Write
and edit high-quality content, including website copy, blog posts, social media
updates, email newsletters, product descriptions, and more.
Ensure
all content aligns with the brand's voice, tone, and messaging.
3. Team Leadership:
Lead
and mentor a team of writers and content creators, providing guidance on best
practices, stylistic consistency, and editorial standards.
Foster
a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work
closely with marketing, design, and product teams to develop integrated
campaigns that leverage storytelling to enhance brand positioning.
Collaborate
with the social media team to create shareable content that engages audiences
across platforms.
5. Brand Voice and Messaging:
Maintain
and evolve the brand’s voice to ensure consistency across all content and
marketing platforms.
Create
style guides and frameworks that ensure all content produced meets brand
standards.
6. Research and Trends:
Stay
updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and content marketing best
practices to inform the content strategy.
Conduct
competitor analysis and audience research to ensure relevancy and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills Require:

Bachelor’s
degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.

8+
years of experience in content writing with at least 2 years in a leadership
role, preferably within a D2C brand or
e-commerce environment.

Exceptional
writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio of relevant
work.

Proven
experience in developing content strategies that drive engagement and
conversion.

Strong
organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
