DESCRIPTION: | Diprobay mouth paint contains Clotrimazole, an antifungal drug that acts by killing the fungus involved in causing infection; Beclomethasone, a steroid that reduces redness, swelling and itching & Benzocaine, an anesthetic that removes pain. Diprobay is prescribed for fungal infections of oral cavity in newly born, children & adults. It is also prescribed in oral fungal infections in adults using dentures, mouth, gum and cheek ulcers & blistering & also in immuno-compromised conditions such as AIDS, cancer, diabetes, TB & on broad spectrum antibacterial therapy. |
SIDE EFFECTS: | Nausea, vomiting, mild itching or an unpleasant sensation in the mouth may occur. |
