| DESCRIPTION: | Epiford syrup or solution contains Sodium Valproate & is an anti-epileptic drug i.e. it prevent fits or seizures in children, adults & elderly. Epiford acts by increasing the concentration of gamma aminobutyric acid or GABA (a neurotransmitter in brain) thereby stopping excessive firing of neuron in the brain that is causing fits. |
