DESCRIPTION: | Tazorax injection contains Tazobactam, a beta lactamases inhibitor & Ceftriaxone, a cephalosporin which acts synergistically to provide better results in resistant infections. It is prescribed for respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, gynecological infections, intra-abdominal infections, for surgical prophylaxis, infections in blood as well bone and joint infections apart from others. |
SIDE EFFECTS: | The main side effects of combination are pain, indurations and tenderness, warmth, tightness at the site of injection; allergic reactions such as rash along with disturbances in white blood cell count, diarrhea & liver enzyme elevations. |
