| DESCRIPTION: | Pegford solution contains Polyethylene glycol 3350 an osmotic laxative with electrolytes. It works by causing water to be retained with the stool. Pegford solution is indicated for clearing the colon (bowel) before medical tests such as colonoscopy, barium enema X-ray exam and colon surgery etc. & for the expulsion of toxic ingestions. It is also indicated for the treatment of occasional constipation in Patients above 2 years of age. |
