DESCRIPTION: | Evoxil–CV 600 Injection combines Amoxicillin, a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic, with Potassium Clavulanate, a β-lactamase inhibitor. Together, they treat a wide range of bacterial infections that are resistant to amoxicillin alone. This combination is effective against respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and intra-abdominal infections which are caused by β-lactamase-producing bacteria. |
SIDE EFFECTS: | Main side effects of this combination are Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting & Abdominal pain that may occur, otherwise it is well tolerated. |
