DESCRIPTION: | Lansoford contains Lansoprazole a proton pump inhibitor that decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is indicated in the treatment of gastric ulcers or duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, stomach infection caused by Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) in combination with an antibiotic. It is also used to prevent and treat stomach ulcers due to use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). |
SIDE EFFECTS: | Common side effects are Diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea, constipation and headache. |
