DESCRIPTION: | Cekozef-S 375 is a broad-spectrum antibiotic composed of Cefoperazone and Sulbactam. Cefoperazone is a third-generation cephalosporin effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms, while Sulbactam is a β-lactamase inhibitor that enhances the efficacy of Cefoperazone by inhibiting bacterial resistance mechanisms. This combination is used in the treatment of moderate to severe infections including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and septicemia. |
SIDE EFFECTS: | Well tolerated in most patients. May cause gastrointestinal disturbances, mild skin rash, or local reactions at the injection site. Hypersensitivity reactions are rare but possible. |
